28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Eternal: Everlasting Psalm 90:2
God has no beginning and no end.
The word "eternal" (aionios) conveys the idea of timeless existence.
Psalm 90:2 NASB95
2 Before the mountains were born Or You gave birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
Infinite:
Self- existing: When we say God is self-existent, we mean He doesn't rely on anything or anyone else for His existence. He is the ultimate source of being. This is in stark contrast to everything else in creation, depends on something else for its existence.
Without origin: To say God is without origin means He has always existed and will always exist. There was no beginning point for Him. Time, as we understand it, doesn't apply to God. He transcends time.
1 Timothy 1:17 NASB95
17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

James wrote; "with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."
'variation' (parallaxis): This word refers to a shifting or deviation, suggesting that God's character and nature are constant.'shadow due to change' (tropes aposkiasis): This is a metaphorical phrase. A shadow signifies something impermanent or fleeting. Here, it emphasizes that God is not subject to change or inconsistency.

Interesting Fact:

God possesses attributes that are unique to Him, often referred to as incommunicable attributes. These are qualities that cannot be shared or fully replicated (copied) by humans. Examples include: Omnipotence, Omniscience, Omnipresence, Eternality, Immutability
On the other hand, there are communicable attributes that God shares with humanity, though to a limited degree. These are qualities that reflect God's character and are expressed in humans, though imperfectly. The Holy Spirit is who makes it possible to produce these fruits. Examples include:
Love: God is the ultimate source of love, and humans are created in His image with the capacity to love.
Justice: God is perfectly just, and humans possess a sense of right and wrong.
Holiness: God is perfectly holy, and humans are called to strive for holiness.
It's important to note that while humans possess these attributes, they do so in a limited and imperfect way compared to God's infinite and perfect expression of them.

lets continue.... with the attribute slides:

Conclusion: Love - The Heart of God

1 John 4:9–10 NASB95
9 By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Agape Love:
Sacrificial: Willingness to lay down one's life for another (John 3:16)
Unconditional: Love without limits or conditions (Romans 5:8)
Self-giving: Focus on the needs of others (Philippians 2:3-4)
Love as the essence of God's character Love as a reflection of God's image in humanity
A call to respond to God's love by loving others.
New Commandment: John 13:34-35 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
Agape Love: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 outlines the characteristics of love: patience, kindness, etc.
1 Corinthians 13:1–8 NLT
1 If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. 3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!
Inclusive: Matthew 5:44 "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,"
