In chapter 2 Paul went into detail about how God’s wisdom is different than man’s.
He also tells us that to understand God’s wisdom, as much as we can, requires the Holy Spirit to reveal spiritual things.
1 Corinthians 3:1–4 CSB
1 For my part, brothers and sisters, I was not able to speak to you as spiritual people but as people of the flesh, as babies in Christ. 2 I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, since you were not yet ready for it. In fact, you are still not ready, 3 because you are still worldly. For since there is envy and strife among you, are you not worldly and behaving like mere humans? 4 For whenever someone says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apollos,” are you not acting like mere humans?
Paul calms the tone of his letter down a notch by reminding them they are brothers and sisters but he still does not hold back.

God will only reveal what you are ready to handle.

Ever wondered why it feels like God isn’t doing certain things in your life?
We tend to blame God but maybe we should consider the reason why we aren’r growing is because we aren’t mature enough to handle it.

The only way to grow is to change your diet.

You can’t blame your spiritual diet on the pastor or the Sunday school teacher. Trust me, we want to serve up the good stuff.
If it is given to you have to dig in.

You are what you eat.

You may look healthy on the outside but your actions will always reveal the truth.
If you have a steady diet of solid spiritual food you will grow in Christ.
If you never grow into solid spiritual food you will remain in the world.

At some point you have to grow up.
