Ruth 3:1-18.

ETS: Ruth finds rest at the feet of the kinsmen redeemer, Boaz. ESS: We find rest when we rest at the feet of our Redeemer, Jesus.

Naomi instructed Ruth to go rest at Boaz’ feet. [vv. 1-4]

Ruth went to rest at the feet on Boaz. [vv. 5-7]

1 Samuel 24:4 “so they said to him, “Look, this is the day the Lord told you about: ‘I will hand your enemy over to you so you can do to him whatever you desire.’ ” Then David got up and secretly cut off the corner of Saul’s robe.”

Boaz proves his character. [vv. 8-13]

Boaz continued providing for Ruth and Naomi. [vv. 14-18]

[1] Have there been times in your life where you have rested quietly at the Redeemer’s feet— making requests for His provision?

[2] What signs were given to you in that season of petitioning that He would take care of you/provide for you?
