Problems with identity

Many people don’t take their identity seriously
What is an identity? Accord to the Goog there are a lot of answers to this baffling question but an identity is who you are. If you were to ask someone who they are they would first respond with their name. Then they would probably begin to tell you what they do. For an adult they would tell you about their job or an athlete might tell you that they are an athlete (football player or something)
Your priorities is what makes up your identity
share testimony with identity: When I was young and very young in my faith, I always tried to place my identity in other places. I loved skateboarding and it was different for me to be one so I would cling to that so I could stand out.
What are you trying to accomplish with your identity.
I hate when people say that middle school and high school is the time where young adults figured out their identity or who they are because if you are a Christian, it is obvious where your identity lies, in Christ Jesus. You are a new creation 2 Corinthians 5:17
Sin will try to steal your identity as a Christian- the enemy will try to whisper in your ear that you are not a Christian, you are a liar, you are a theif, you are a doubter, you are unworthy, you are an adulterer, etc. But who Christ says you are is factual and never changing
If your identity is found in what you value most and place at the top of your totem pole then could we say that if your identity is anything other than Christian then you are clinging to idols??
Romans 6:12-23 and Romans 6:23 bundles up all that was just said in a nice little bow
