Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:15 KJV 1900
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

Note that this not two groups [scardy cats + unbelieving; but those who have the two spiritual diseases.] They are also abominable! And grouped as guiltily with the other six groups of condemned.
Unbelievers are called by Jesus as darkness and sons of Belial [wickedness] personified! 8 mortal sins.
The 10 spies bringing back the evil report to Joshua were of this sort: and spread their contagion to all the children of Israel.
