If you lead anything in the name of Jesus your character should match the destination where Jesus inhabits you.
“The man and the woman that God uses greatly he hurts deeply” - A.W. Tozer
God chisels us away so that we are worth following.
Brokenness
God doesn’t use anything that comes to Him together.
There is a difference between wounded and brokenness
Wounded - demonstrate a camo carnality. The focus is on those that hurt them. They wallow in their pain.
Broken - Been wounded but speaks of woundedness in a redemptive way. The celebrate Jesus in their pain. A holy handicap that keeps us dependent on him
Moses and the burning bush
I empower the ordinary and the mundane
You don’t need to be some one special
I don’t use what you have been given. I use what you have given to me.

Pathway to Dependence
Pathway to Desperation
Despair is hopelessness.
Desperation sends us to the object of our hope
Pathway to Deliverance
If God doesn’t break us our successes will destroy us.
“ all to often the seeds of failure are sown during the seasons of success”
When God trusts us with more we must search our hearts and go into deeper levels of dependence.
Character must be greater than the platform or the platform will destroy us.
2 Corinthians 12:7–9 CSB
especially because of the extraordinary revelations. Therefore, so that I would not exalt myself, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to torment me so that I would not exalt myself. Concerning this, I pleaded with the Lord three times that it would leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.
Deliverance
From - removed
Through - Short term but with the presence of God
in - God sometimes says no. His deliverance is in the daily life and moments.
2. unCommon Communion - Views what God has called us to do as an invitation to go into the tent of meetings. Every assignment presupposes that. The miracle is not in the work but in the person being conformed to God’s image. On our way to do something we become something.
