As I come forward at end of worship
SLIDE 1 “WELCOME”
Encouraging words from worship
Wednesday Night New Season Kickoff.....Meal & Bible Study
Men’s Skeet Shoot Yesterday
Weather at skeet shoot........schools back.........got our water bill for this past month..........how about electric bills right?.......
Anyway after skeet shoot had lunch......grabbed a quick nap and needed to get to my rat killing stuff I needed to get done....
Mom and Dad in law needed AC filters changed......did that......needed to go split some logs in back of truck for firewood
Driving here and there and just enjoying at that short time in my truck .....noticing how wonderful the AC was......I’m thanking the Lord and just talking with Him how wonderful The Fall Weather will be.
Then I am thanking The Lord for how amazing it is He created the seasons of the year

How also thank Him how He uses the seasons of the year to help encourage through the different times......different experiences in our lives......
That as we go through those experiences......God always has a plan and always desires to use these times in our lives for His glory.....amen?
And so as I have been praying and asking the Lord this what I feel He has for us today in His encouragement for us
Every single one us here to day are in a season in our lives in some form or fashion
We all undoubtedly like the good season.... the good time of or in our lives right......no doubt we thank God for those times
Those times are kinda like the Spring season or the Fall season.......but those seasons seem shorter do they not?
The Spring Season.......preparing for growth
The Fall Season.......preparation for dying
The longer seems to be Summer and Winter right? Harder to do things at a comfortable level seems a lot of the time
In Summer I think about how hot the bed of my truck is.....
How Hot is is to walk on the concrete.....
How hot it is to just mow the yard or work out in the sun
But we get a break......at night....sometimes rain....some times cooler than usual days......GOD OWNS ALL THAT.....AMEN?
In the Winter.....seems longer season as well.......little harder to do things in a comfortable level lot of the times
Always a need to protect things from freezing.....plants animals need more care.......harder to get things moving or cranked up in the winter......gotta prepare with more clothing
God owns all that too........and makes appreciate the wonderful Spring and Fall times right?
So God owns it all......... and so if I need to be reminded and to help me stay encouraged in all seasons........ this I feel is what the Lord is showing us today

THE GOD OF ALL SEASONS
God is in Control / Give Thanks Always
You would need to go all the way back to the book of Genesis......first chapter......14th verse
What is important to keep in mind.....
1st day said let there be light.....separated light from darkness
2nd day God separated the water of the heavens for the earth and made the sky
3rd day.....God created all plants and vegetation......btw was watered from underneath
and now we have the fourth day .....check it out here in Genesis 1:14.
SLIDE 4 GENESIS 1:14
14 Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years.
We have learned in God’s creation how so quickly set the seasons......days ....and years
Look at the order of that
You may be in a days season of your walk in life.....you may be in a years season
But look also in this 4th day creation event here
SLIDE 5 GENESIS 1:16-18
16 God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also.
17 God placed them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,
18 and to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.
He is there ....God is in control......day and night.....look up at the stars and give thanks to Him for all His has done.....He called it good
Look what God tells Job here

31 “Can you direct the movement of the stars—
binding the cluster of the Pleiades
or loosening the cords of Orion?
32 Can you direct the constellations through the seasons
or guide the Bear with her cubs across the heavens?
33 Do you know the laws of the universe?
Can you use them to regulate the earth?
God is in control.....give thanks
We noticed in Genesis God sets theses things in place
Now we see here in Job God is saying that He is directing and guiding and regulating
Job definitely went through a season or two ....amen?

28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
There is gonna be good to come out of your’s and my season........ for those who love God......give thanks He is in control

This Season will Pass / Trust God
God set this example soon....actually command to His people Israel

21 “You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but on the seventh day you must stop working, even during the seasons of plowing and harvest.
God was always showing His people........ hey do your part......just remember you can’t provide all .....and you cannot put anything over the finish line and make it through this season without finding rest in Him and trusting in Him
And this is so good in 1 Thessalonians

18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
Be thankful in all circumstances in your season.......

Deuteronomy 11:13–14 (NLT)
13 “If you carefully obey the commands I am giving you today, and if you love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart and soul, 14 then he will send the rains in their proper seasons—the early and late rains—so you can bring in your harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil.
Trust the Lord as this season passes He will give you what you need to make it through
SLIDE 12 I won’t read this but put it up on the screen”
4 I will send you the seasonal rains. The land will then yield its crops, and the trees of the field will produce their fruit.
God will be faithful to send the grace you will need in every season
so let’s look again at these points of encouragement today.....and get point 3

1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.
3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.

4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
6 When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.
WORSHIP TEAM COMING UP
Just remember to grow in your season
Even though it seems are peak growing seasons.....God cause things to grow in all the 4 seasons of the year
Remember God was with you and still with you

Exodus 34:22 (NLT)
22 “You must celebrate the Festival of Harvest with the first crop of the wheat harvest, and celebrate the Festival of the Final Harvest at the end of the harvest season.
Glorify God recognize what He has done and celebrate what He has done
Remember God is for us not against us....amen?
