Idea: Steward of the Gospel

1 Corinthians 4:1–2 “1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”
Let it be said of us that we have value as a minister for Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God…
1 Peter 4:10 “10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
Titus 1:7–9 “7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; 8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; 9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.”
As a steward, God has placed you to act on His behalf of stewarding the Gospel… He still holds the power behind the Gospel, but He entrusted US to take the Gospel to the whole world…
2 Corinthians 5:19–20 “19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”
What do you do with what you are given?
As stewards of the gospel, do you appropriately steward the Gospel in your witness?
