To reveal to Moses that nothing will hinder God from accomplishing His purpose

To reassure Moses that God is in control (Who made God’s mouth? Who spoke the world into existence?, etc.)

Confirmation, Consolation, and Confidence for Moses (Mark 16:20)

“That they may believe” (Exo. 4:5, 8; John 20:30-31)

Miracle’s Meaning

To show God’s power and how He can use anyone from any background to bring about His will while not taking away their free will
