To reveal to Moses that nothing will hinder God from accomplishing His purpose

And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God (Acts 5:38–39) Confirmation, Consolation, and Confidence for Moses (Mark 16:20) “That they may believe”

Exo. 4:5 — “that they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.” Exo. 4:8 — “Then it will be, if they do not believe you, nor heed the message of the first sign, that they may believe the message of the latter sign. To show God’s power and how He can use anyone from any background to bring about His will while not taking away their free will
