John 10:10 ESV
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Life: life (state) n. — the condition of living or the state of being alive; especially healthiness, happiness, exuberance, energy, vitality, and the like.
The greek word for life is ZOE
"Zoe" is often used to denote not just physical life, but more importantly, a spiritual, eternal life that is only possible through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jesus said “they” should have life and have it (life) abundantly.
Abundantly: Beyond and Extraordinary
Jesus said “They”
Today I want to talk about “They’s in our life”
Are you concerned about someone and the direction “they” are heading in?
Do you know someone who is Spiritual dead because they don’t have a relationship with Jesus?
Do you see them not experiencing the extraordinary life?

Caring for someone can effect you ,mentally and emotionally:
Stress and Anxiety: Constant worry about the person’s well-being and decisions can lead to increased stress and anxiety.
Emotional Exhaustion: Continuously trying to support or guide someone who isn't receptive can be draining.
Guilt and Self-Blame: You may start to blame yourself for not being able to help them or question if there was something more you could have done.
Frustration and Anger: It's common to feel frustrated or even angry, especially if the person repeatedly ignores your advice or continues to make harmful choices.
Depression: Over time, the ongoing stress, worry, and emotional toll can contribute to feelings of sadness or depression. You might feel overwhelmed by the situation, leading to a sense of hopelessness.
Resentment: If the person’s actions negatively impact your life or cause repeated stress, you might start to feel resentment toward them, which can damage your relationship and your own mental health.
Compassion Fatigue: Caring deeply for someone who is struggling can lead to compassion fatigue, where you feel emotionally numb or detached because of the constant emotional strain.
Conflict in Values: Watching someone you care about go in a direction that contradicts your values can create inner conflict.
I believe Ezekiel paints a beautiful picture!!!
In Ezekiel 36, God promises to gather Israel from the nations, cleanse them, and give them a new heart and spirit
Ezekiel 37:1–3 ESV
The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry. And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.”
The valley of dry bones: This represents the desolation and hopelessness of the exiled Israelites.
Being in exile, they were cut off from their homeland, their temple, and their sense of identity and purpose
The dry bones also represented Isreal’s spiritual health.
The dry bones symbolize a state of spiritual death.
The Israelites had turned away from God, engaging in idolatry and disobedience, which led to their downfall and exile.
This spiritual deadness is depicted through the lifeless, scattered bones in the valley.
The dry bones represent the need for restoration and renewal.
The dry bones is a picture of our Spiritual health at one time!
Ephesians 2:1 ESV
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins
Dead: spiritually dead adj. — characterized by lack of spiritual life or vigor; being completely indifferent toward the things of God.
I was unable to experience “Life”
This is the question….
Ezekiel 37:3 ESV
And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.”
Do you believe that “they’ can live?
Do you believe that they can bounce back?
For the record…
You are living testimony that dead bones do live!
Cancel the prayer meeting….
I know your praying for them… But God didn’t tell you to pray
Ezekiel 37:4 ESV
Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
It is time to Prophesy!
Forth-telling
It’s time to speak the word of the Lord…
On the day of Pentecost the dead bones became alive!!!!
Ezekiel 37:13–14 ESV
And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the Lord.”
