The Danger of Believing a Lie

2 Corinthians 10:4–5 “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

It is when we discover that our thoughts lead to our actions that we will understand the importance of winning the battle in the mind.

Which is why we must battle our thoughts and must bring them into the obedience of Christ.

The Battle of Our Mind

It is our Thoughts that shape our mind.

Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…”

Believing the Lies

studies have shown that thoughts affect emotions, and emotions affect actions

This means that Bad actions are a result from bad thinking.

This is why the devil attacks your mind though your eye gate and ear gate!!

His Goal for you is to believe a lie!!

The devil may rather have you to believe a lie that for you to commit a sin.

once sin is committed the conviction sets in and makes you want to stop(should).

A lie believed will cause you to commit it repeatedly.

The devil will shout his lies long enough and loud enough and through many different ways to tempt you to believe it

His lies will keep you From Victory

His lies will give you Faulty Vision

IF YOU DON’T BIND YOUR MIND

it will give you false perceptions in life, water down sin and make you think its okay just like the mouse and mousetrap.
