The person who embraces wisdom trust God wholeheartedly, putting Him first in everything, turns away from evil, listens and does what is right. Consequently, they enjoy long and prosperous life enjoying favour with God and man. Not just possessing what money can buy, but also having the rich inheritance of what money cannot buy.

The Value of wisdom II
Introduction
It gives an understanding of God, righteousness and justices
It is like as our personal bodyguard that protects us from evil
It gives is the way to long and prosperous living.
We will take some of this further and explore how, in today’s message.
 
Message
Key Text Prov 3:1-18
The key to experiencing the promises of God is to walk in obedience to God’s word. For But for many of us we focus on sacrifice, what we do not what He’s saying. Obedience is better than Sacrifice. 1 Sam 15:22
Understand this Gods commandments are not burdensome, 1 John 5:2-3 however our obedience help prepare us to receive and enjoy what He has planned for us.
1.     Don't forget God's law, embrace them and live by them v.1
a.     Embrace them and let them govern your world view Joshua 1:8
b.     Become intimate with Him
 
2.     Be merciful and truthful v.3
a.     prepared to be shaped by integrity. Let your yes be yes. Mean what you say and let it matter. Matt 5:37
b.     This involves actions as well as attitudes. Hence a merciful person is not only loving, but also loyal, faithful and dependable.
c.     While a truthful person does not just believe what is true, they stand for justice for others.
d.     Thoughts and words are not enough our lives reveal whether we are truly merciful. As our actions must measure up to our attitudes.
3.     Trust and acknowledge God in all things and don't think you know it all v.5-7
a.     don’t rely on your own opinions, acknowledge Him in all you do and rely on Him to guide you through.
b.     To trust implies to hold on to someone with total confidence and dependability.
4.     Honour God with all your possessions by recognising and acknowledging Him with all your increase v.9-10
a.     Tithes and offering are not payment for His blessings, rather they are they evidence of our faith and obedience to Him.
LeTourneau says, “if you give because it pays it won’t pay” God loves a cheerful giver 2 Cor 9:7
c.     True wealth is not owning what money can buy and loosing what money cannot buy. Matt 16:26
d.     Giving to God help us conquer greed and help us to manage God resources properly consequently opening us up to receive God’s abundance.
5.     Don't reject God's discipline v.11
a.     It is the key to a healthy life
b.     Avoid what is wrong.
c.     Wisdom gives us an enriched long life Prov 3:16
d.     This is not a suggestion that physical activity don’t matter, it has its place 1 Tim 4:8
