God Began Creation (Genesis 1:1)

His Presence (In the beginning)
Before time ever existed, God is. He is I AM.
Job 38:4–7 “Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?”
Proverbs 8:22–29 “The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; When there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: When he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: When he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, That the waters should not pass his commandment: When he appointed the foundations of the earth:”
His Preeminence (God)
The Bible starts off with God.
The Bible doesn’t try to debate with you that God is real. It just assumes you know God is real.
Romans 1:18–20 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
His Power (created)
It wasn’t hard work for God to create the world and all that is in it in 6 days.
Job 37:23 “Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, And in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.”
Psalm 8:3 “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;”
God is so powerful that he spoke things into existence (And God said, Let there)
Psalm 29:4 “The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.”

God Began Calvary

Revelation 13:8 “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
1 Peter 1:19–20 “But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,”
Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
The countless types and shadows of Calvary and Christ
Genesis 3 with the coats of skins God made for Adam and Eve.
Genesis 4 with Abel and the firstling of his flock.
Genesis 6 and 7 with Noah and the Ark
Genesis 22 with Abraham and Isaac (God will provide himself)(not for himself “modern translations”)
Exodus 12 with the blood of the passover lamb protecting against death.
John 4:34 “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”

God Begins Conversion

Where would we be in God hadn’t began our conversion? Where would we be if God hadn’t started salvation?
Genesis 3:9 “And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?”
When the world was going to be judged for its wickedness, God told Noah Genesis 7:1 “And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.” WHEN SOMEONE TELLS YOU TO COME IN, THEY ARE ALREADY THERE!!!!
John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
John 6:65 “And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.”
Boaz seeing Ruth in the field.
Jesus already at the well in John 4.
Jesus coming to the lame man at the pool of Bethesda (John 5:6 “When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?” )

God Began the Church

We’re not talking about a religious sect, but a real savior.
We’re not talking about a holy club, but a holy Christ.
We’re not talking about a burden, but a bride.
THE CATHOLIC CHURCH ISN’T THE BEGINNING OF THE CHURCH. CHRIST IS THE BEGINNING OF THE CHURCH.
Matthew 16:13–18 “When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Colossians 1:17–18 “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.”
Eve was took from the side of her husband (Church took from the side of Christ)
Abraham’s servant went out to find a bride for the promised son Isaac. (the Holy Ghost is going to bring people to be in the bride of Christ)

WHAT GOD BEGINS, HE FINISHES

Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
Creation is good.
Calvary is good.
Conversion is good.
The Church is a good work.
Creation (Genesis 2:1 “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.” )
Calvary (John 19:30 “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” )
Conversion (Hebrews 12:1–2 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” )
The Church Age (Revelation 3:22 “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” Revelation 4:1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” )
While the church age will end one day, the church will never end, because we’ll be like Him, a glorified body, no more time, but made eternal!
Revelation 19:6–8 “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”
Revelation 19:14 “And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.”
