Recap of Ephesians:
we are set apart by God, chosen by Him before the foundation of the world.
we are saved by grace through faith, not a result of works.
we are a part of something special, created and ordained by God to bring everyone together in one body through Christ Jesus.
we are called to live differently in this world, not as the rest of the world does, but as the children of God that we are.
Christ died to set us free from the sinful things of the world, that the wrath of God is going to be poured out because of these things.
we are to live in relationships with our family, fighting for them and leading them, and rendering our service to our masters as to the Lord, not to them.
John 10:10 ESV
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Ezekiel 22:30 ESV
30 And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.

Matthew 7:24–27 ESV
24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

Ephesians 6:14–18 ESV
14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

Illustration: Feeding a hungry lion one more time, it doesn’t die but becomes stronger Illustration: lifting weights, after the first day you lift, your body is super sore and stiff, and the weight feels heavy and awkward. Take four weeks off, come back and try again, and you will experience the same issue. But, if you lift continuously, stretching your muscles and pushing yourself, the weight gets easier and the soreness goes away. This is what we do when walk daily in God and His righteousness (His righteous way of living).

Ephesians 6:11–12 ESV
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:16–20 ESV
16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

Galatians 6:1–2 ESV
1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
