 Exhortation of the Text: * Proposition: You dependently pursue the fruit of the Spirit in your life, because the fruit glorifies God. I. You see faithfulness in your life (vv. 22) A. Do you wish to reflect the character of God? B. Do you desire to be dependable? C. Do you live a life of trust? II. You see gentleness in your life. (v. 23) Num. 12:3 3 (Now the man Moses was avery humble, more than any person who was on the face of the earth.) Matt. 11: Matthew 11:28 "aCome to Me, all 1who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 "Take My yoke upon you and alearn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and bYOU WILL FIND 1REST FOR YOUR SOULS. 30 "For aMy yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light." 1Corinthians 4:21 What do you desire? aThat I come to you with a rod, or with love and a spirit of gentleness? 2Corinthians 10:1 Now aI, Paul, myself burge you by the cmeekness and gentleness of Christ-I who dam 1meek when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent!
