This season isn’t FUN

Serving the Lord when life hands you hard circumstances or heartache

When it doesn’t look like what you think it should

How do we THRIVE in conditions that are less than ideal??

Romans 8:37 NKJV

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

We tend to forget that means we will actually have to conquer something

BUT before we start, want to clarify one thing.

Hardship, trials, disipointments are NOT God trying to teach us a lesson.

PERIOD.

God is a GOOD God. I would never put Josie through heart ache to teach her. And he’s a better parent then me.

However we live in a fallen world that is ruled by Satan. We see the proof everyday when we interact with people and culture.

Due to us living in a kingdome that is not our home we WILL ENCOUNTER TROUBLE.

But just like says:

John 16:33 (NKJV)

33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

THANKFULLNESS

WE enter his presence with THANKSGIVING

Psalm 100:4 NKJV

4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

THANKSGIVING WILL TAKE YOU INTO THE THRONE ROOM

I firmly believe that being in the presence of God it is very difficult to dwell on our earthly situations

THANKSGIVING takes our eyes off ourselves and puts them back on the FATHER.

Thanksgiving immediatly corrects our mindset.

THE HOLY SPIRIT- PRAY IN TONGUES

We pray the perfect will of God

1 Corinthians 14:2 NKJV

2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.

IT ALLOWS OUR MIND TO GET OUT OF THE WAY SO OUR SPIRIT CAN COMMUNE WIOTH GOD

We crucify our flesh

We ARE STRENGTHEN!

1 Corinthians 14:4 NKJV

4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

HIS WORD

His WORD is alive!

the LIVING, BREATHING MANIFESTED WORD OF GOD

We should know it intimately

we should be consuming it at a rate of a starved person
