Colossians 1:9 NASB95

For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

A) Our prayer for each other should First be a consistent prayer.

The goal of prayer is the ear of God.

When something s truly important to us we will pray over it consistently.

Illus: When Grace and I where getting married I prayed over it constantly. When Grace was pregnant I prayed over both of them constantly.

Consistent Prayer is not a substitute for a heartfelt prayer.

But remember it is not the quality of our faith but rather the object.

v9 we haven’t stopped praying for you.

Our prayer should be for each other to be in the will of God.

A)The pray is two fold first for their spiritual lives and second for their physical life.

Worthy-In a manner worthy

B) Fully pleasing to Him

A Prayer for our brothers to be found pleasing to God. This means that we are praying for them to be in the will of God and for God to be satisfied with that person.

C) bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God,

Bear Fruit - Produce a Crop
