At the time you probably had no idea that one day you would be the person who occupied that front office.

Originally when you came on staff it was to cover the front desk part time, but even from the initial interview that you had with Pastor Mike and I, it was clear that your position would have the potential to become much, more more.

It turned into much, much more as most all of us know. If you don’t know how much Erica has done it is because so much of what Erica has done has been behind the scenes to make this place work.

She has excelled at it. You have been a gift to us.

James 1:17 (ESV) - 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father…

You have been a good and “Perfect” gift.

Sounds funny but that word is the word for “complete” meeting high standards - completing things to the intended purpose.

That is what you have done for us behind the scenes.

Some of your work is out and front or sometimes in the trenches.

5th season of leading women’s bible studies on Weds mornings.

Continuing with biblical counseling education as well as meeting with my biblical counselees at church and in the community (Lynden Manor)

Returning as AWANA Girls T&T leader.

These are still ministries that you will continue to do without pay. You do this because you are enabled by the Spirit to do so and you will be richly rewarded in the Kingdom come because you do so!

So although Erica, will be moving out of her official ministry paid staff position, she will still be doing the “work of the ministry.”

Erica coming off staff also potentially opens the door for other staffing possibilities that our leadership team can begin exploring as we seek to align ourselves with what God is doing in our family.
