Turn to God

Isaiah 1:18 NLT
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.
We spoke last time about healing
you can’t heal unless you turn to God.
You can’t heal unless you repent of your Sins
God tells us that He alone can heal AND forgive us
Isaiah 43:25 NLT
“I—yes, I alone—will blot out your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again.

Forgive like God

Why can we not forgive like God?
Proverbs 28:13 NLT
People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.
We often conceal our sins
But God knows of them no matter what
He will grant us mercy
All we have to do is ask
Daniel 9:9 NLT
But the Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him.

Ask God to Forgive You First

Why do we expect God to forgive us if we can’t ask Him to forgive us?
We had a battle cry to help us heal
Why do we not have one for forgiveness?
But we do!
Psalm 32:5 NLT
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Interlude
“And you Forgave me! All my guilt is gone!
That is our battle cry for forgiveness
We have to remember that all we have to do is ask

Love Thy Neighbor

We are told to love our neighbor
But how can we love them if we can’t forgive them?
There will be many things that will happen throughout our life
We have to remember that God puts people in our life for a season
God also will never put us through something we can’t handle
Why is that?
Because with Christ all things are possible
Remember God had a plan for us before we were born
That includes Him forgiving us of our Sins
And us Forgiving those who have sinned against us
A Prayer for all sinners
Isaiah 55:7 NLT
Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.
We should pray this everyday
Not just for ourselves
But for everyone
This is the first step in forgiving others as God forgives us
This step comes after we are healed
So tell me, How can you forgive if you are not healed?
You can’t.
Heal first
Then Learn to forgive like God
Continue to carry His word forward
Even to those who have sinned against us
Forgive them
