The sermon this Sunday is on the remainder of John 1:29–34, entitled “What John Saw.” The passage gives John’s testimony concerning the person of Christ. The baptism of our Lord was especially significant for John the Baptist. As we see who Jesus of Nazareth was, it helps us see the whole world in the right perspective. Hope, salvation, grace, and spiritual renewal are found in him.
