Introduction
[CONTEXT] This is a royal psalm, a psalm focused on the Davidic king, a psalm initially written by David but a psalm that points us to the ultimate Davidic king—King Jesus.
The “I” in vv. 1-11 refer to the Davidic king.
The “our” in vv. 12-14 refer to the people of God.
The welfare of God’s people is wrapped up in the faithfulness of the Davidic king.
How good to know then that our King Jesus is perfectly faithful!
