God keeps His Promises

Do you ever wonder what in the world God is doing? As an officer that has happened to me a lot. I have often asked God, “Are you sure about this?”
We live in a world where everything seems upside down and back to front. We have people running the country/world, that just seem, well, crazy.
We live in a world where leaders who change their speeches/priorities/principals just to gain a vote. Leaders who are dictators and have declared war.
And we believe that because scriptures says, that God is in control.
Israelite nation, were God’s chosen people. He brought them out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. Dt 7:7-8 tells us God love for them.
Israel was set. In the Promised Land and living in Jerusalem and they had the Temple, which King Solomon built represented the presence of God. But, they strayed, and rejected God. Their sins led to the fall of Jerusalem, the destruction of the Temple and their exile.
2 Chron 36:15-21.
One of the exiles was a man called Belteshazzar, Daniel. Dan 1 follows the end of 2 Chron with Daniels story.
King Babylon-Nebuchadnezzar. Ch 9:1 Darius the Mede were South-southwest of the Caspian sea. And they were conquered by Cyrus King of Persia.
The last verses or 2 Chron 36:22-23 says read.
Then we begin Ezra 1 with these words.
Prophet Jeremiah, “Jer 24:6-7, Jer 30:3, Jer 31:31-34, Jer 32:37-38.
God will keep His promises. His plans can never be stopped or delayed. God’s timing is always perfect. Even if He uses the most unusual people. Whoever thought enemy king support rebuilding a Temple used to worship the God of the enemy?
Maybe parts of your life feel in ruin destroyed. Friendships, marriages, families, relationship with God. God can rebuild what the enemy is trying to destroy.
Ezra 1:1 says. Moved the heart of Cyrus.
Not the first time God has done this. Pharaoh Exodus. Ex 7:3 and 9:12. Dt 2:30.
God can move the heart of people.
Maybe, you have someone in your life that needs their heart moved towards Jesus. God can do it.
Maybe, there are people in our church that need their hearts moved to do something to help build God’s kingdom and get involved.
