Salvation is a reference to God’s saving power to rescue the one’s he deems righteous and judge the wicked. — Exodus
2 Corinthians 6:1–2 ESV
1 Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
He’s about to ask us to be reconciled to God, to help the reconciliation between God and man by sharing his message and attempting to mend relationships that have become hostile.

God has ordained us MINISTERS of Reconciliation NOW

Because God is coming back to judge at any moment, we can MINISTER as reconcilers NOW
2 Corinthians 5:18–19 ESV
18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
Paul forgive sinners 2:5-11
Talk with and communicate with those who have born us evil. This letter that paul writes is to some people who have abandoned and slandered him for nicer and shinier people.
Trying to resolve Jew and Non-Jew conflict by getting the non-Jews to give towards the Jews plight.

Reconciliation takes two and you may not always be successful.
Romans 12:18 ESV
18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

God has give us a MESSAGE of reconciliation to share NOW

Because God is coming back to judge at any moment, we have a message of reconciliation - the gospel — as a part of the ministry of reconciliation that should be shared NOW
2 Corinthians 5:19–20 ESV
19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

God’s METHOD of reconciliation is by killing His Sin-Burdened Son

Because God is coming back to judge at any moment, we honor GOD’S METHOD of reconciliation as the basis for why we are reconciled.
2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV
21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
