As a Christian you need to understand we are in a battle! (in our mind)

The devil will not and does not fight fair.

1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

We can’t be lazy and unengaged and expect to win!

The Retraining by the Thought Tamer

Gods Truth Leads to Our Transformation

We need to go to spiritual boot camp!

the job of a drill sergeant is to to tear down people old habits and retrain them to be victorious in battle.

Here is a great truth “You will never conquer what you will not confront.”

how do we enter spiritual boot camp?

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

We need to renew our mind! Replace the Lies the Devil has been telling us

It doesn’t matter what the devil is telling you. Lets look at what God says!

Romans 8:32 “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

What weapon do we have for battle?

Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

We need to allow the Word of God to Change us!

The Resolve of the Thought Tamer

We need to know this in not a one and done battle

But we need to learn how to identify the lies of the devil and the thought HE puts there and combat it with the Word of God!! Every time a lie is brought up quote the Word of God!

That is why scripture memory is so important!!

There will be times of win and times of losses but what will you do after the losses?

Determine to get back up and fight, press on for God! Don’t quit, don’t give up and don’t give it! There is too much at stake!!!
