Eligiblity to be a servant of Christ.

Matthew 10:37 NIV
“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
If you Love anyone else More then God you are not Qulified
Because our God is Jelous God He love us so much he won’t share us with anyone else. (Ex 34:14)
He has made ultimate sacrifice for us (jn 3:16)
Matthew 10:38 (LEB)
And whoever does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
"Take up their cross":
The cross was a symbol of suffering, shame, and execution in Roman times.
By saying "take up their cross," Jesus is calling His followers to be willing to endure suffering, hardship, and even persecution for His sake.
Just cross the border and God will give you rest. mat 11:28
Luke 9:62 “But Jesus said, “No one who puts his hand on the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God!””
God and desiring to be success like the CEO, Manager, Politician, business man are not fit for the kingdom of God.
It’s a metaphor for self-denial, sacrifice, and total commitment to following Him, regardless of the cost.
"Follow me":
To follow Jesus means to live according to His teachings, to walk in His ways, and to be obedient to His will. This is not just a call to believe in Him but to actively live a life that reflects His values and mission.
"Is not worthy of me":
Jesus is making it clear that true discipleship requires a willingness to prioritize Him above all else, including personal comfort, relationships, and even life itself. Those unwilling to do so, He says, are not worthy of being His disciples.
Luke 9:62 “But Jesus said, “No one who puts his hand on the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God!””
Being a servent of God and desiring to be success like the CEO, Manager, Politician, business man are not fit for the kingdom of God.

Authority, security and care from God for our duty.

Matthew 10:26–42 NIV
“So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven. “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn “ ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. “Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”
Matt 10:1 God’s Blessed his Faithful servants with Authority.
Matthew 10:1 NIV
Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
Authority: Drive out impure spirit, Heal diseases and sickness.
This authourity was not only to his 12 disciples but to everyone who believes in.
Authority: Drive out impure spirit, Heal diseases and sickness.
Mark 16:17–18 (NIV)
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
Today the same authority rest upon you and me, we the beliver are with a mission of Spreading the gospel.

Announce it in daylight when you are in work or with people.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Kill the body = You will meet peple who can destroy your body , body is beautifuly crafted by God by Dust and to dust it will return one day.
Genesis 3:19 “By the sweat of your brow you shall eat bread, until your return to the ground. For from it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
Soul is preceious save it first.
God way is simple! Acknowledge Him to other and he will acknowledge you before father.
V34. Jesus did not come to bring peace in between men of God and Men of Devil.
Jesus came with Sword to set man against his Father, Daughter againt her mother
What kind of Sword Jesus Brought?
and his sword is is his word.
