하나님이 베푸신 은혜들

Joshua reminds them of past blessings.
여호수아 23:3 You yourselves have seen everything the Lord your God has done. You have seen what he’s done to all of those nations because of you. The Lord your God fought for you.
A. He tells them that it has been God who fought their battles and gave the victory.
‌God fought and won against their enemies. God destroyed Jericho castle which is strongest fortress in Canaan. God saved Rahab who was prostitute in the castle, but she had faith in God. They knew all that they could not fight against their many enemies in Canaan with their power. They were lost and slaves in Egypt.
B. We who are Christians need to stop and think of our past blessings.
We were lost and dead in the trespasses and sins.
엡2:1You were living in your sins and lawless ways. But in fact you were dead.
We were going on the road to hell, without power to change our way.
딛3:5 He saved us. It wasn’t because of the good things we had done. It was because of his mercy. He saved us by washing away our sins. We were born again. The Holy Spirit gave us new life.
We had no power to save our lives. We had no power to overcome the misery of our lives. We had no power to keep the eternal rejoice with all things we hold. God came to us and saved us from our state of sin and escaped us from sadness.
God reminds us of His salvation to us.
Christ came and died for our sins on the Cross and saved us from our sins, and changed our destiny from hell to heaven.
벧전2:24 He himself carried our sins in his body on the cross. He did it so that we would die as far as sins are concerned. Then we would lead godly lives. His wounds have made you whole.‌
Therefore, our biggest blessing is that He changed our destiny from hell to heaven.
