We talked about how Isaac was an image of Christ to come last week.

Some see Abraham’s servant, probably Eliezer, as a picture of the Holy Spirit working to secure the Bride of Christ.

Obedience

Abraham’s Death

Abraham took Keturah as his wife and she bore him several children.

Abraham left everything to Isaac, but he gave gifts to his other children and sent them away from Isaac.

Abraham lived to be 175. He was blessed for his faithfulness.

Abraham was buried in the cave where his wife Sarah was buried. Isaac and Ishmael buried him.

Isaac the child of promise is now blessed by God.
