In a few verses before this Gospel, Jesus applies to himself the words of the Isaiah: he has sent me to preach the good news to the poor, send me to proclaim release of the captives, recovery the sight of the blind and set free those who are oppressed. And then the evil adds another, he came to destroy the devil, the work of the fallen angels.
Because at the origin of all our disasters was the original defeat, but by the envy of the devil, death entered the world, and they who are allied with him experience it.
The first thing that Jesus did is to proclaim the truth, only the true can make the man free, and then from the true, another physical and spiritual healing, but fist of all the true.
And in the opposite side the works of the evil always start with the lair, with the error.
This battle that started 2000 years ago, is continued today between the Church that is the body of Christ and the evils spirits.
It was predicted that at the end of the times, this battle will become worse, he knows that his getting out the time, but we must not be afraid to him, we have to be afraid to the sin he has no power over us unless we allow him with the disgrace of the sin.
