Our church mission statement: "Investing in people to experience Christ’s transforming power, together."
I believe you are here because you want to invest in our students and be an instrument in God’s hands.
Galatians 6:9–10 “9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

Investing in People:

First, let's talk about what it means to "invest in people."
In the world of finance, investing is about putting resources into something with the expectation of a return.
But in God’s kingdom, investing in people is about pouring our resources (time) into others with the goal for them to experience Christ.

Experiencing Christ’s Transforming Power:

The second part of our mission statement speaks to the heart of what we desire for everyone in our sphere of influence: to experience Christ’s transforming power.
Philippians 1:6 “6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

Together:

Finally, the word "together" is crucial. Transformation in Christ is not a solitary journey; it’s something we do in community.
Laurel Liebl made a comment in a quarterly business meeting: how can we fellowship more with our Spanish speaking brothers and sisters? Wednesday Connect will have bilingual worship.
Hebrews 10:24–25 “24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
