Good morning guy’s my name is Daxon Crow… you may be wondering why is a High School student talking to me… I am not in HS I am the Youth Pastor at NLC.

Got killed + helmet hurt = Playing golf & tennis

What’s the point there is none…

But today I want to talk to you about unity:

HS I played on a 3peat state championship team and the reason why we won wasn’t because of star players… it was because we work together and ALL played our part!

ROMANS 12:4-5 NLT

4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.

The author of this verse is a guy named Paul he was a hater and then he had an encounter with Jesus and became one of the greatest evangelists for Jesus ever!

When he says bodies in verse 4 he’s talking about our literal bodies but in verse 5 he’s talking about Christ’s body he’s talking about the church!

I believe that God’s word can speak into any AREA of our life. I believe God’s word can even speak into the AREA of football.

Today I simply just want to encourage you with the idea of Unity.

That’s what this verse is calling followers of Jesus to do which is to have UNITY!

It’s also saying that each part of the body has a REASON and a PURPOSE.

CHALLENGE

Tonight y’all have the chance to go out and play a big game and beat a good team.

But here me it will NOT WORK without each of you playing YOUR part and working in UNITY!

Here’s the TRUTH: Y’all have BIG GOALS as a team… like LET’S WIN STATE this year. But again it will NOT HAPPEN unless everyone does their PART and works in UNITY.

So wether you are the 3rd string LB or the star WR DO YOUR PART and work in UNITY.

I wan’t to leave you with this thought and then I’m going to pray for you:
