Three Battles, Two Outcomes, One Preparation
Battle One
Battle One
Numbers 14:39-45.
We see that Isreal refused to go into the promised land, so God passed judgment onto them. They, deciding that the Promised Land was better them that punishment went up after God said no. so they talked among themselves and went up. low and behold, they were beaten, badly. but why?
They never prayed. they talked among themselves, not with God. they tried to do it by themselves, without the power or presence of God (the Ark and Moses)
Battle Two
Battle Two
The Enemy
The Enemy
Esther 3:1.
Haman - Haman is identified as the main antagonist in the Book of Esther. He was an official in the court of King Ahasuerus (Xerxes I) of Persia.
Son of Hammedatha - Haman is described as the son of Hammedatha. His father's name is mentioned several times in the Book of Esther.
The Agagite - Haman is referred to as "the Agagite" (Esther 3:1). This designation links Haman to Agag, the king of the Amalekites. The Amalekites were ancient enemies of the Israelites.
Amalekite Connection - Agag was a king of the Amalekites during the time of King Saul, mentioned in 1 Samuel 15. The connection to Agag suggests that Haman's lineage was tied to the long-standing enmity between the Amalekites and the Israelites.

We see the enemy, the battle, the prayer, but i am going to make a few points in closing
Who is our Amalek?
Who is our Amalek?
I believe we can say the world is, the lost billions with no hope.
Who fought?
Who fought?
The Joshua and the Army.
Moses was older, he was not a fighter, it was not his Job to go to the front lines.
Who is on the front lines? The pastors, evangelists, missionaries. People who are called from God to go out and spread the Gospel.
Who Prayed?
Who Prayed?
Those who were not called to fight.
The rod of moses symbilizes Gods power. I believe Moses was uop on that Hill praying for those fighting down below.
But it was not just Moses. It is not just the Pastor or the missions comity, it was also Aaron and Hur, I am sure it was every Person left behind.
Paul asked for prayer
Sure, here are the references:
1. Romans 15:30
2. Ephesians 6:18-19
3. Colossians 4:3
4. 1 Thessalonians 5:25
5. 2 Thessalonians 3:1.
Me and Charity are willing to go to the front lines, but we have a favor to ask of you. We cannot go, if men and women like you do not pray for us.
So, I have cards to help remind you to pray for us. I am asking that if you would be willing to commit to praying for us, to please take one, and everytime you see it or think of us, to please pray for us.
When Moses let his hands fall, and stopped praying, they began to loose.
Please don’t stop praying for us!
