We are always being shaped by what we surround ourselves with.

There is more about me now that is American than there was 10 years ago. I did not go to American classes or apply for a program. I just married into it, lived around it, molded my life into its Rhythms and I adopted its values. It did not happen overnight, but it began on day 1 and it continues to this day.

The work of conforming focus on changing the look of the tree

The work of transforming focuses on changing the seed.

We can primarily focus our attention on exterior behaviors and appearances or we can primarily focus our attention on internal growth

The work of Jesus in us is compared to a treasure in a jar of clay or a seed that is incorruptible that is in a shell that corrupts.

The Call to discipleship

God wants to affect every part of us. His goal for redemption was not just a superficial “call it good”, “dust his hands off your past” and give you another go. The effect of sin and death had permeated deep into those he set apart for glory and abundant life. His goal for redemption was to recreate the infection from de

The Transformed Life
