Great interest in the Book of Daniel

When it comes to Daniel 9, there have been many Christians who have studied this chapter and have been immersed with the prophetic message and it’s revelation.
One such person that was impressed by the prophetic message is a well known man by the name of Isaac Newton.
Isaac Newton according to various scholars is said to have written more on theology, especially Biblical prophecy than on mathematics and physics.
In a book called “Observations Upon the Prophecies of Daniel, and the Apocalypse of St. John.” Isaac states regarding the prophecies found in Daniel:
The predictions of things to come relate to the state of the Church in all ages: and amongst the old Prophets, Daniel is most distinct in order of time, and easiest to be understood: and therefore in those things which relate to the last times, he must be made the key to the rest. - Page 15.
How amazing is that? The father of physics whose focus is on Biblical prophecy and theology believes that the book of Daniel is easiest to be understood and he said that these prophecies relate and is key to these last times.

Introduction to Daniel 9

So, if an 18th century physicist says that the book of Daniel is important especially in these last days, then I believe we as Christians should take seriously in understanding this book especially when we’re living in these last days.
How well do we understand that prophetic message found in this one book? How well do we understand Daniel as well?
