20 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, 21 equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Do you have a story of feeling empowered?

We are going to be looking at a Benediction from the book of Hebrews

A benedicition is an empowerment from God. The author of Hebrews is speaking on behalf of God and empowering the readers.

God wants to empower each of us.

Why?

We are being empowered in so many ways. School for work. Family for family. Government empowers us to be good citizens.

What about God? How does he empower us and to what ends? THis is the topic we will be covering.

Just know that true power belongs to God and he wants to give it to you so that you may fulfill his dreams for your life.

Who - The God of peace

How - Brought peace through the resurrection of Jesus Christ by the blood of the eternal covenant

What - Equip us with everything good

Why - That you may do his will

Who - Through Jesus Christ our Lord
