Pleasing Aroma
his is reminiscent of the sacrificial system established in Leviticus,
demonstrates how those consecrated to the Lord worship Him gratefully for their salvation.
Noah’s sacrifice brings the Father’s grace and holiness into harmony. This is what 8:21 tells us, for our Creator vows to preserve mankind only after smelling the “pleasing” aroma of an offering made to satisfy the Lord’s wrath. - RC
The daily sacrifice consisted of the offering of a lamb along with a grain offering and a drink offering, both in the morning and at twilight, as a soothing aroma to Yahweh.

Christ is the Pleasing Aroma
He is the aroma of salvation.
R. C. Sproul
The same gospel that is a sweet aroma to those heading for life is a stench in the nostrils for those who hate the truth. The same gospel … a sweet-smelling savor and a wretched hydrogen sulfide stench. That’s what it is.
D. A. Carson
Godliness … is devotion to God which results in a life that is pleasing to him.
