we believe in the impact of what God does at fall retreat

So many stories of people being prompted to dive deeper into their faith, community, and often I heard this last year people jumping on mission trips and wanting to live their life on mission because of what God did at retreat

As we do every single week… we want to take a moment, hit pause, and meditate on the most prayed prayer of ALL TIME

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 says this HEAR (get your attention), O Israel, the Lord our God the Lord is One and you shall love the Lord your God with all your…

If I’m being honest I often skip past this idea that the Lord our God the Lord is one and zoom in on the aspect of how do I love God more with all that I am

So tonight I want us to sit and mediate on this first aspect of this prayer, to remind ourselves of the truth of who are God is…

Maybe you walk in tonight lacking trust and dependence that God is holding you up, that He has a plan for you, that He is eternal and better than all things

If you fall in this camp you may need the reminder that God is utterly and infinitely powerful and He is the only ONE like this

Jeremiah 10:6 “There is none like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is great in might.”

Or maybe you are walking in tonight, beaten up, battered, forgotten about, heavy laden… and you maybe not the reminder that He is infinitely powerful, but that God is intimately personal

He knows you, understands you, and loves you like none other ever could or can

Or maybe you need just dwell at His goodness, and remind yourself of His promises tonight

The worship team is going to lead us back into worship here in a moment but don’t feel rushed back into if you need more time with the Father before singing
