Introduction: Each Sunday, there are untold millions who take the time and worship God yet in many of those churches there are many that don’t truly take the moment to worship God they are only there to “Put in their time” many churches have or are closing around this world and in America not because they are building larger houses of worship but because they are simply bored.
Psalm 100:1–5 (KJV 1900)
1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: Come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; And his truth endureth to all generations.
Make a Joyful noise unto the Lord
Psalm 100:1–2 (KJV 1900)
1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: Come before his presence with singing.
Joyful being the important part! We are all a temple of the Holy Spirit and we should praise the Lord and worship God
1 Corinthians 6:19–20 (KJV 1900)
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
It is truly sad there are a lot of people who won’t take the time to worship God
Hebrews 10:25 (KJV 1900)
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
We ought never say “I have to go to church” instead we should be happy to be in God’s presence! Like the song says “No greater joy than to be in this place and lift my voice and sing His praise”
Psalm 122:1 (KJV 1900)
1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
Illustration:
We should be here to receive Him as our God!

God is our creator we are His! We have life because of God!
Psalm 95:6–7 (KJV 1900)
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: Let us kneel before the Lord our maker. 7 For he is our God; And we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
Jesus is our Good Shepherd
John 10:11 (KJV 1900)
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
We Ought to Come Expecting to receive from God!
Acts 1:8 (KJV 1900)
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
We should come into church as Entering into God’s presence!
