1. Who is Jesus Christ?

Explanation: Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He came to earth over 2,000 years ago to reveal God’s love to us and to provide a way for us to be saved from our sins.Scripture:
John 3:16 – "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."John 14:6 – "Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"

2. Why Do We Need Jesus?

Explanation: All humans have sinned and fallen short of God’s perfect standard (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God, and the penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23). But God, in His love, sent Jesus to take our place by dying on the cross for our sins. Through Jesus, we can have forgiveness and eternal life.
Application: Without Christ, we remain spiritually dead. Through Him, we are made alive and restored to a relationship with God.
Scripture:
Romans 6:23 – "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

3. What Did Jesus Do for Us?

Explanation: Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. He took our place, offering Himself as a sacrifice. But the story doesn’t end there! Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, defeating death and offering us the hope of eternal life.
Application: His resurrection means that we can have victory over sin and death. By trusting in Him, we receive forgiveness and the promise of eternal life with God.
Scripture:
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 – "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, and He was raised on the third day."

4. How Can We Be Saved?

Explanation: Salvation is a gift from God. It cannot be earned through good works or religious rituals. We receive salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.
Steps to Salvation:
Believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died and rose again for your sins.
Repent of your sins and turn to God.
Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Application: Accepting Christ means giving your life to Him and trusting Him fully for your salvation.
Scripture:
Ephesians 2:8-9 – "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

5. What Happens After We Believe?

Explanation: When you put your faith in Christ, several important things happen:
You are forgiven: All your sins are forgiven.
You become a child of God: You are adopted into God’s family (John 1:12).
You receive the Holy Spirit: God’s Spirit comes to live inside you, guiding you and helping you grow spiritually.
You begin a new life: You are called to live a life that reflects Jesus, loving God and others.
Scripture:
2 Corinthians 5:17 – "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."

6. How Do We Grow in Our Faith?

Explanation: After coming to Christ, it’s important to grow spiritually through:
Prayer: Talking with God regularly.
Reading the Bible: Learning God’s Word to understand His will.
Fellowship: Meeting with other believers for encouragement.
Obedience: Living out God’s commands and reflecting His love to others.
Scripture:
Colossians 2:6-7 – "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."

Conclusion:

Jesus offers new life, forgiveness, and eternal hope to all who believe in Him. Coming to Christ is the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, where we grow closer to Him and live out His purpose for our lives. Encourage new believers to take their first steps in faith by trusting Jesus fully and learning to follow Him day by day.

Prayer:

"Lord Jesus, thank You for the love You’ve shown by dying for our sins. Help us to trust You with our whole hearts and walk in the new life You’ve given us. Guide us by Your Spirit as we grow closer to You each day. In Jesus' name, Amen."
