I’v known a lot of Pastors growing up as a ministry kid and Pastors son
You get to see a lot of Preachers
People who can draw a crowd
Freaks can draw a crowd lol
But you don’t often times see Pastors
It’s one thing to be great at preaching
We can all give a ted talk if we needed to
But having a Pastor
Pastor Thom walking the streets praying
That’s a Pastor
A Shepard
Small town barber shop:
When I got out of college in 2008 I went to the oilfields in Montana
I was in a very small town on the Far east side of Montana
This was back when I had hair
There was a barber shop that also sold archery equipment
There was an older guy that knew one haircut and it was the flat top
Didn’t matter what you asked for it was going to be high and tight
Anyway
There was a bar next door to the shop and Sometimes on a slow day you would have to go get him out of the bar
So he could give you a haircut
That’s when you would get your ear nicked or get a not so great haircut
If I lived in this town and you needed to find me a slow day at the office
9 times out of 10 if I lived in this town instead of being at the bar, you could find me in Ranch and Farm store
That place is a man’s dream there

Romans 4
Romans 4:1–3 NKJV
1 What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
Romans 4:17–21 NKJV
17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
The lie of the enemy is His reality
Satan cannot and will not reieve redemption
And now his soul purpose on this earth is to steal yours from you
John 10:10 NKJV
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
The enemy will try and tell you that your situation is unredeemable
He wants to steal your vision, your hope, your relationship and steal your future
Hebrews 11:3 NKJV
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hard for us to comprehend but the spiritual realm existed before the Natural realm
I would argue that the spiritual realm is more real than our natural realm because it existed first
Maybe real isn’t the right word
Maybe influential would be better
The Spiritual realm influences the physical natural realm
Jesus gives us the ability to call Heaven down to earth
When we have a new born again spirit
1 Peter 1:23 NKJV
23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
Romans 9:8 NKJV
8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.
In this Physical world but we are now of a different kingdom
We are children of the most high God
We are operating on a different plane now if we want to be
Galatians 4:7 NKJV
7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
And heirs/not errors
Heir: A person who inherits or is entitled by law or by the terms of a will to inherit the estate of another.
We inherit the kingdom
Sons and daughters inherit
Now Faith Is:
Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Greek Word for SUBSTANCE- hoopostasis
a setting or placing under
thing put under, substructure, foundation
that which has foundation, is firm
that which has actual existence
a substance, real being
the substantial quality, nature, of a person or thing
the steadfastness of mind, firmness, courage, resolution
confidence, firm trust, assurance
Faith is the foundation, the structure, the concrete, the truth of , the confidence
WE can be confident in our hope
2 Peter 1:3–4 NKJV
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Gideon:
Do you know what his future looked like?
Hiding in a cave and in a wine press
The rest of His life looked like defeat
And being a VICTIM
Judges 6:12 NKJV
12 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”
What my future looked like without God
Just a hillbilly from Washington
What have you been called
What does your future look like?
Same story different day?
God wants to take the things that be not in your life and make a future:
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Even if you can’t see it God can
Have Faith in God and He’ll give you the God kind of Faith
1 John 4:15–17 NKJV
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
SO ARE WE, IN THIS WORLD
You have everything you need NOW ACT LIKE IT
2 Peter 1:3–4 NKJV
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
