1 Samuel “Seeing” - biblical context?

The book of Samuel is a narrative story from Hannah to Sameul then Saul and David. The narrator seems to call for spiritual eyes - that is “seeing” in the spiritual realm. For instance Apostle Paul spoke of struggling against is not about the world’s current affairs rather spiritual primciples and powers in the unseen realm. The Bible actually tells people live in two realms - materialistic world and unseen realm.

The story begain with Hannah, a lady who were uble to have a baby. In culture, she was “unimportant”, except her husband who dearly loves her. Of course it is not nice experience, Hannah was unhappy and went up to the temple and cried to the Lord. Priest Eli saw her sorrowful prayer and thought she was drunken because her mouth open and tongue moves. In her replied, “I am sorrowful and pouring my heart to God.” Priest Eli told her God had heard and answered her prayer. She became a pregnant. She made a vow will dictate her son, Samuel, to the temple of Lord. She fulfilled her vow and the Lord blessed both her and Samuel. Hannah had five more children afterward. Samuel was an unique son and Lord choose him for a mission. This story is one of mortifs of how God “sees” people. That’s challening thought.
