Jesus calms the storm

Jesus traveled town to town with his disciples. Healing the sick, mending the wounded. Teaching people right from wrong and leading people to God. ‘

Matthew 8:23–27 NLT

Then Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with his disciples. Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm. The disciples were amazed. “Who is this man?” they asked. “Even the winds and waves obey him!”

Points - Jesus was happily asleep in the boat even during a storm. But the disciples were panicking as if they were going to die. So much so that they woke Jesus up from his happy sleep. Jesus got up and calmed the storm, but was not happy about it. Would you be happy when and if you were woken up from an amazing sleep?? Jesus was ticked off! And on top of that, the disciples did not have enough faith to know that they were going to be alright. So now not only is Jesus probably ticked off that they woke him up, but also because they didnt have enough faith in him.

Have faith that Jesus can get you through the tough times even if it feels like youre gonna die.
