What factors distinguish the church from the rest of the secular world?
1. Men are called to holiness.

Jewish and Roman men developed similar cultures.
Lots power. Little accountability.
“holy” - sanctioned, allowed by God.
Pure Actions. Pure Motives.
2. Women are called to holiness.

Cult of Artemis.
“dress” demeanor as well as attire.
Christian women were not to abuse their freedom.
“Elder” “Pastor” “Overseer” - 3:2, 5; 5:17, Tit. 1:9.
The greatest asset a woman can offer is a devout and godly life.

Adam and Eve were a pair.
Adam was passive.
Eve was deceived.
Scripture lays responsibility of humankind on men.
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all people, because all sinned.” - (Romans 5:12)
Gen 3:15. is the 1st Biblical prophecy pointing to Jesus.
I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strke your head, and you will strike his heel.
We submit to God and guard against Satan’s intrusions.
The relationship betwen men and women is complimentary, not competitive.
