Compassion/Food Bank Ministry

Outreach to our community for those who are in need.

People call the church and request assistance with delinquent bills or food needs.

We set them an appointment with someone who take 30mins to explain the Gospel to them and ask them questions.

Pray for them.

Answer any questions they might have.

The appointment is mandatory before they can receive any help from the church.

Needs

We need at least 3 more faithful MEN who have the availability and willingness to serve on the compassion ministry.

Even if you are only able to commit to 1 or 2 slots a month.

The only requirement is, you LOVE THE LORD and know how to communicate to others “What great thing the Lord has done for you and how He has mercy on you.”

Mark 5:19 “And He did not let him, but He said to him, “Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you.””

Once/month, meet with the leadership.

Hope Bible Study

Continue to pray for the men of GBC who are struggling or trapped in sin.

Some men need growth and some need to be BORN Again.

Our desire is that HOPE Bible Study will NOT be needed.

Proverbs 28:13 — 13 He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion.
