For these first 3 chapters, Paul has really focused on our IDENTITY in Christ and believers.
What God has given to us, what God gave up for us, the purpose God made us for, and everything like that.
Really showing us who we are.
The first 3 chapters are focused on that.
Last week Paul showed us the mystery that was revealed to Him through Jesus.
The mystery of God uniting all peoples to Him through the work of Jesus.
We looked at the calling God has placed on the life of every Christian
The grace that God offers no matter how your past has looked
And the eternal purpose and hope that He has offered us as believers…
These things further establish the identity we have in God as believers.
As we finish up chapter 3, we are going to see something that is incredibly important for our spiritual lives that affect how deep our identity is in Him.
