PHILIPPIANS 4:6-8 (NLT) 6 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.

JOHN 14:8-10 (NLT) 8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.” 9 Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.

WHY DOES IT MATTER THAT JESUS IS GOD?

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT GOD THINKS ABOUT PEOPLE… LOOK WHAT JESUS…

IF YOU WANT TO SEE HOW GOD TREATED THOSE WHO DISAGREED… LOOK HOW JESUS…

JESUS BECOMES OUR ROLE MODEL

I WORSHIP JESUS BECAUSE HE WAS A MAN…. (We have to understand Justice)

SOMEONE HURTS, OFFENDS YOU… COPS GET THEM… OT had to sacrifice animals… why? Innocent… Had to keep doing it…
