Waiting on the Promise
Waiting on the Promise
For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater to swear by, he swore by himself, saying,
“Surely I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply you.”
And so, by persevering, he obtained the promise.
How many of you know that we serve a God who wants to bless us? A God that loves showering his children with good and perfect gifts. A God that wants to release the blessing that make rich and add no sorrow. We serve a faithful God, a worthy King who’s thoughts towards us are good and not evil to give us hope and a future. Today as we draw our minds in. Let us remember who we serve. Let us focus in on the God who redeems, the God who loves, and the God who restores.
Come on let’s enter into his gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with praise, this is the day the Lord has made I choose to rejoice and be glad in it. Thank you Lord for allowing us to enter into your presence. Thank you for opening my eyes this morning and giving me the breathe of life. Thank you Lord for covering me and my family while we rested, thank you Lord for stretching forth your hand and blessing this day. A day that I’ve never seen before but you blesssed it and made me an integral part of it. God i give you my heart this moring, not out of vain repetition but out of sincere gratitude for the price you paid for me on Calvary’s cross. You are God, and above you there is no other, you are my keeper, my redeemer, my sanctifier, my strength, my hope in glory, my bridge over troubled water, my promise keeper, my firm foundation, my beautifier, my wisdom giver, my provider, my sustainer. What I lack you are full of Lord, you are my peace, my joy, my blessed assurance and I give you praise. Come on, out of your mouth, make a joyful noise to our King, to our Lord, the one who woke you up this morning, the one who enables you to breath the breathe of life, come on, let’s praise the God of our lives. The one who stabilizes us, come on if you’ve ever been confused, frustrated, concerned, overwhelmed and God steps in and brings stability to the situation. He’s that kind of God, a God that you call on and he answers, I God that heals the sick, gives sight to the blind, opens doors that no man can shut. He’s that kind of God. He deserves the honor, he deserves the glory. Come on, lift up your heads oh ye gates and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors, and the King of Glory shall come in, Who is the King of Glory, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord Mighty in battle. Lift up your head daughter, lift up your head son. Look for the King this morning, he’s the one that has the answers you’ve been searching for, shake off the grave clothes, the garments of sorrow and put on life today. His word is life, he is the bread of heaven, ask him to feed you until you want no more. He’s that kind of God, that will step in, at the right time and make it look like, nothing ever happened. He’s God all by himself, and we love you! We set our face towards heaven and we call on your son Jesus this morning, to purify our thoughts, purify our hearts and purify our intentions. We want all that you have for us Jesus and don’t want to miss anything. Create in us a clean heart oh God and renew a right spirit within us. Purge us with hyssop, that means go into the hidden places, the dark places and scrub us with your spirit. Drench us with your anointing so that we look like who you callled us to be. Drench us Holy spirit, we welcome you to have your way right now. Let no heart go unchanged in your presence. Fill us up! Fill us up, come on out of your mouth say fill me up Lord.
