So he sent his brethren away, and they departed: and he said unto them, See that ye fall not out by the way.
I was reading my normal Bible reading, and this verse really popped out to be. This one statement really made me think.
This evening i am going to take a couple minutes and bring a few things about this thought, and areas we as Christians cannot afford to fall out on.
Do not fall out in the following areas

Sound Doctrine

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

I could go on and on, but I won’t.
I cannot go to each verse, but what I am saying is that we believe what we do because it is what the Bible teaches! not because of Pastor, not because of Brother Steve, but because of the Word of God, and we must not fall out by the way in sound doctrine!
How do we get this sound doctrine? From Church, Sunday School, Bible College, Personal Study, and reading.
We get it intentionally, not by accident

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Sowing is an investment.
What are you going to invest your time into?
The Bible Exposition Commentary Chapter Eleven: The Liberty of Love (Galatians 6:1–10)
once we have finished sowing, we cannot change the harvest.
What is our service? what is our number one job?
“His last command should be our first priority” - Brother Ballew
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Don’t stop spreading the Gospel!
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
The Philosophy of missions is Be, Go, Teach, Send
DON’T STOP SERVING GOD IN YOUR LOCAL CHURCH, OR IN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Paul had words of encouragement to Timothy
Verse 3 - Sound Doctrine
Verse 5 a - Service
Verse 5 b - Surrender
But I believe Paul was saying in Verse 7 that he never stopped serving (fight), he never strayed from what God wanted him to do (my course) and he never left sound doctrine (kept the faith)

A few thoughts,
God does not change
For I am the Lord, I change not; Therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
God is all knowing
Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, The wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
God has a plan for your life
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
If God placed a call on your life, He will not change His mind, doing so would be saying that He was wrong at first.
If their was a point in your life where God called you into missions, but not anymore, then one of two things happened.
You missed it. This happens, and its okay. If you know deep down that you miss understood what God was trying to say, or you wanted to go into missions for your own reasons, then don’t go. Wait until you know the call is from Him
You did something that forced God to change it. (called to pastor or be a missionary, but you got divorced
I cannot tell you what Gods will for your life is, but I can beg you to look at your life, look at your past, see if you are falling away from your surrender. You know if it was God. You know, and i am begging you, when we all get to Heaven, I don’t want to see a single person in this room stand before the judgment seat of Christ and not receive a reword.
Because of Matthew 6:1-6 I believe that others will witness our judgment. 1 Corinthians 3:14 . Receive a what? Reward!
If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
We will know how much others lived for Christ, based on the rewards they receive in Heaven. I don’t want you to see me standing empty, and if i fall away from my surrender to His will, if I have not finished my course, what reward will i receive?
You cannot fall away if you never started

How to get one the way
How to get one the way
Genesis 22:1
Here I am is the word ”Hineni" (הִנֵּנִי) This term signifies more than just a
location, but also a total presence or readiness, a willingness to fully engage or participate. When someone in the Bible says "Hineni," they're not just saying "I'm here in a geographical sense, but "I'm here" and agreeing to do whatever you want.
And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I.
And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
These verses all show men who were greatly used by God, and every one of them started out the same. BEFORE they knew what God wanted, when they only knew that God was trying to get their attention, they said "Here am I" they said "I'm here in a geographical sense, but "I'm here" in a deeply engaged and interpersonal way." They were saying "I am ready and willing to do whatever you wish"
In my life, have I said "Hineni"? have you said "I am ready and willing to do whatever God wants me to do, not evening knowing His plan?
Are you even on the “way”
you might be thinking that this is good for young folk, but does not apply to older folks.
In Genesis 22, Abraham was most likely over 100 years old. I have a friend who is currently on deputation who is a medical doctor, the missionary we plan on working with was a captain in the marines.

It is not to late to start! Start now!
Lastly, if you have fallen out by the way in any of these things, I have news for you.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
all you have to do is get back in the way…..
I leave with this question, will you See That Ye Fall Not Out By The Way?
