Mark 3:1-6 Jesus tests those who are testing Him about the Sabbath
Sabbath day restrictions:
Jesus had already claimed to be Lord of the Sabbath.
Now they are watching him to destroy him because they want that title.
Sin makes you stupid. How do they think that this will destroy Jesus?
Jesus asks about the very nature of the Sabbath. Is it lawful to do good.
Is it lawful to kill? This is what they immediately go out to do.
They lack fear of God and compassion for neighbor – Hard hearts:
