This Sunday, we see Jesus win the allegiance of more disciples. Last week, we saw Andrew and (possibly) John begin following Jesus. Then Andrew brought his brother Peter to the Lord. My sermon this Sunday looks at Jesus’ victory over the lives of Philip and Nathanael. Once again, the Gospel of John is filled with instruction about the nature of Jesus’s followers and, even more importantly, the amazing truth of who Jesus is.
